Best wishes on your engagement. No matter the scale of your wedding, adding a piper to the day should not become a complication.
There are a lot of questions. How do you incorporate a piper into your day… what can you ask of me,… what will it cost?
Let me offer some answers. There are many points throughout the wedding day from the rehearsal, to the reception. If you’d like me to be at the rehearsal, I usually offer to be. If you would like me to lead you down the aisle, you can have that. If you want a traditional Scottish ceremony outside of the church, followed by a mass inside the church, followed by me leading your party off to the ceilidh, you can have that too. If you want a surprise for your guests, I can do that also.
Prices are going to vary based on what is requested, but a local simple service in the Austin area typically is less than $600, which includes my attendance at your rehearsal if you desire it.
